Our slogan "A Family Helping Families" stems back three generations from the history of the Opacity Family. Paul and Anna Opacity came to the United States from Nadice, Austria. Paul was a carpenter and Anna was a Midwife. 
As a Midwife Anna helped many families in the Newark Area grow. 

Paul and Anna had two sons, Ernest A. Opacity,MD and Albert P. Opacity Sr.
Ernest attended Georgetown University in Washington DC and Medical School in Austria specializing in Orthopedic Surgery. He maintained a medical practice in Newark before settling in Vista, California. 

Albert P. Opacity Sr., founded the Opacity Funeral Home, in Newark, N.J. 

Albert P. Opacity Jr., is the current owner of the Opacity Funeral Home, Kenilworth, NJ.
